Title: Differential Geometry II
Description: First and second variation formulas, conjugate points and Jacobi fields, comparison theory. Curvature and fundamental group: spaces of positive and of negative curvature, space forms, Lie groups, homogeneous spaces, and symmetric spaces. Different topics may be covered depending on the choice of the instructor.
