Title: Undergraduate Teaching Practicum
Description: Each student assists in teaching a lower-division mathematics course or works in the Mathematics Learning Center. The student's work is regularly supervised by a faculty member. In addition, a weekly seminar is conducted. Responsibilities may include preparation of materials for student use and discussions, helping students with problems, and involvement in ˝alternative˝ teaching projects. Intended for upper-division students who have excelled in the calculus sequence. May not be used for major credit.
Prerequisite: Permission of the director of undergraduate studies
