MAT 550: Real Analysis II

analysis, a continuation of MAT 544.

first graduate course in real analysis. Parts II Solutions Custom Publishing (can be
ordered from the campus bookstore); Walter
Rudin, Real and complex
analysis, 3rd ed McGraw-Hill, 1987.
- Howework & Exams: Homework will be posted weekly on
the web
page,
with problems varying from routine to more challenging. The homework is
due one week after
being assigned. There will be a midterm exam on Wednesday, April 6, (in class,
11:45-1:10 pm), and a
final exam on Wednesday, May 18,
11:00 am -1:30 pm.
Course grade will be based on the homework, midterm
and final exams, weighted as follows: Homework 30% + Midterm 30% +
Final exam 40%.
