I am a Mathematician
"The language of mathematics gives us a precision that allows enormous subtlety in the articulation of ideas"
Imagine all the possible ways we can une geometry to describe spatial realities.
I use generalizations of calculus to study a variety of geometric problems in higher dimensiona. It is a remarkable fact that the solution of these problems provides insight into the properties of physical systems. An example of such a system that exists in our everyday reality is the intricate dance of a spinning top. I also study higher dimensional spaces whose very structure reflects the properties of objects like knots.
Teaching and mentoring are really important aspects of being a mathematician.
